ISC is designed to reduce the risk of infection caused by stagnant urine but if not done properly can introduce infection into the bladder. To eliminate this the PreLube^® catheter is completely enclosed with no need to touch the catheter itself. The gel lubricates as required and offers better control with no slippery surface to contend with.
