Doctors and Incontinence

Hospital doctors are often not sure how to treat an unstable bladder. A recent survey by Geriatric Medicine magazine reported that while 80% of doctors say they felt confident about diagnosing an unstable bladder - a common cause of urgency and frequency - only 57% felt confident about treating the condition. The report concluded that more education for doctors could improve their knowledge about how to treat this common problem.
