INCONTACT STATEMENT ON NEW NICE GUIDANCE PUBLISHED TO HELP PEOPLE MANAGE DISTRESSING BOWEL PROBLEM

The good news is that it will be standard national practice that healthcare professionals ask people in the high-risk groups about the problem and not solely down to the individual to present to their GP. We really hope this guidance will encourage patients to become more confident talking about faecal incontinence so that healthcare professionals can diagnose the cause and offer the more appropriate support and treatment.
