Bard
has launched a new version of its Lubri-Sil Foley indwelling catheter -
already the only silicone catheter to come with a hydrogel coating. The
new Lubri-Sil Aqualfil now comes ready with 10 ml of sterile water to
fill the balloon, which keeps the catheter in place. This will help
nurses fit the catheter without the need to find a separate supply of
sterile water.
