Incontact Support Network

Incontact provides information and support to people affected by bladder and bowel problems and has a growing network of local support activities.

  Incontact aims to develop its network of community activities and where possible we work in partnership with health professionals to increase awareness and feedback to health services. Local activities are open to people of any age, with all types of bladder and bowel problems, their carers, relatives and friends.

Aims of an Incontact Group

• Share experiences and similar concerns
• Meet people, make new friends
• Develop new ways of coping
• Boost self-esteem and confidence
• Access up-to-date information
• Use your skills and learn new ones

• A local telephone link – offering support in the local area.
• Awareness activities – exhibition stand, acting as speaker.
• Individual meetings – meetings/chats over coffee on a one-to-one basis.
• Fundraising activity – raise funds and awareness.
• Pen-Pal/epal activity – support through letters/emails.
• Online Chat – hosted on the Incontact website.
• Support Network Newsletter, Incontact Magazine –contributions
